Power of Well Being
In accordance with Local Government Act 2000 as amended and Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, on 25th November 2009 the council affirmed that the four prescribed conditions for the use of the power of well-being set out in 2008 SI NO: 3095 have now been satisfied. Eligibility to use the power will last from 25th November 2009 until the day before the Annual Council Meeting following the next ordinary election.
